When moving to the city you may have felt our of your depths when it comes to fashion. After a while you may realize that looking cool isn’t about designer brands and fast fashion. It’s about being able to recognize quality and embracing the mixture of ideas, cultures, and bit of adventure in your wardrobe. Honored is building a niche for the undefined, and the nature of freedom of lifestyle that defines the journey of a life in NYC.
We carefully chose our first silhouettes in the endeavor to stay true to our goal of honoring the city of New York for its unique fashion landscape while trying not to forget that utility in an everyday bag is also important. Made and designed in the New York Garment District, we pride ourselves in supporting local business and sustainable fashion by using high quality sustainable materials.
Story
Honored was founded in New York City between two friends who had a dream of starting their own brand. The idea stemmed from starting a handbag and accessories brand that was inspired by the fashion forward attitude of the city with the goal of balancing versatility, style, and function.
It began simply meeting up on dog walks and pitching ideas to one another and in January 2023 it was decided. Honored would need to become a reality, and the two set out on the journey, pooling their career skills and backgrounds in fashion and finance to carefully plan and design two products that would embody the brand and soon, with your Honored support, become the first of many.
